A: Yes, Our engineering team has the ability to take your idea or concept through design & layout and into production.
Q: I am unfamiliar with the Injection Molding process, can you tell me if it is the best method for producing my part?
A: We get asked this often. The Injection Molding process is not as easy as most people think. Tools can cost thousand's of dollars and may not be the direction you need to head. Depending on the design and quantity of your parts you may be better served by machining, thermoforming or extruding your product. No matter which way you decide to go Aero-Plastics has the resources to help.
Q: What kind of mold storage or preventative maintenance do you perform.
A: After each time we run your mold, we inspect it for any abnormal wear. We then put it through a documented cleaning procedure, which includes lubrication, cleaning of the water lines and treating with an anti-rust product. Your mold is then stored with it's own identity and location.
Q: What kind of lead times can I expect from you for part delivery?
A: We pride ourselves in providing one of the shortest lead times in the industry. Typically our material suppliers can have resin to us in (2) days or less. Standard delivery of your product ultimately depends on quantity of parts, but overall we can ship parts in (2) weeks or less.
