Mike
Hammer, President. Mike started out his career at Aero as a machinist running a CNC Lathe and progressed up the corporate ladder ultimately becoming the General Manager in 1989. In March of 1991 Harry Haight who started Aero-Plastics retired from the company and moved to the Philippines leaving Mike to run the company. In early 1994 Mike joined with Mike Aws to purchase the company from Harry and in November 1996 Mike Hammer became sole owner of Aero-Plastics. Mike has worked very hard in establishing Aero-Plastics as a premier manufacture in the Pacific NW. In his free time he enjoys spending time with friends and family aboard his boat in Lake Washington and the Puget Sound waters. Richard Morris, Sales/Marketing. Richard has 20+ years experience in manufacturing and is familiar with various types of production operations and industries. He can provide you with customer support on a wide range of parts and processes - whether it be molded or machined, plastic or metallic, existing product or just an idea. If he's not already on the road to visit you, you might find him working on a classic car - ask him about his Avanti! Tia Uchello, Quality Manager. Formerly known as Tia Williamson; Tia was with us from 1996 thru 2001 as our QA Manager when she decided to gamble on the gaming industry. Clearly the cards she was dealt or the cards she was dealing to the customers were not good enough and she is back for her second tour of duty. On her first tour with us she was instrumental in implementing our Quality Manual and getting our initial ISO-9001 registration, in addition Tia is a certified internal auditor. Unless she learns to count to 21 we are pretty sure she will be here for the long run.
Anne
Michelbrink, Controller.
The Q & A person, Anne brings her 20 years of accounting experience with her. She has been with Aero-Plastics since 1997 and is responsible for all the companies accounting functions. She is also the go-to person for anything to do with employment benefits, company policies or safety issues. If you are interested in joining the Aero-Plastics’ team or have any questions regarding possible job openings she is the person to contact. After work Anne spends numerous hours nurturing her children’s Olympic gymnastics and soccer dreams. Mike
Munsinger, Machining Manager. Our go to guy in the
machine shop. Rumor has it that Mike has been in manufacturing since
he was out of diapers and when we went looking for a new Production
Manager his (20) years of experience made it an easy choice for us.
His responsibilities include overseeing the machine shop, assembly and
programming. Mike has had substantial exposure and training in lean
manufacturing principles which he puts to use on a daily basis manufacturing
you parts. When not at the helm of the machine shop, Mike heads home
to continue raising his three children with his wife Carol. We can only
hope that they all turn out like Mike “in some instances”.
Kellie
Harrison, Contracts Administrator.
Kellie started working with us in 1997 and through the first part of
2004 was in the Quality office. Kellie is well versed in ISO-9001 and
AS-9100 standards and is a certified internal auditor for both. This
knowledge along with a broad knowledge of material and processes, serves
us well as she is now responsible for estimating and maintaining all
long-term customer contracts. Outside of work she spends some of her
spare time creating rare art with rubber stamps while critiquing the
latest reality TV shows.
Mike Moran, Consultant. Mike has been a valuable asset to Aero-Plastics serving as a consultant since 1997 helping us implement a total management system based on Lean Manufacturing Principals. He has extensive training in Lean manufacturing and in his spare time is an instructor at Highline Community College as well as being the chairperson on their Engineering Advisory Committee. If you like the sun and have a boat, there is an open invitation to join Mike and his family at their property on the Columbia (But you gotta have a boat!). I would give you his phone number but we keep that top secret as we do not want our competitors calling him.
